Revenge Episode 3

The episode begins with Emily having a frightening nightmare about the FBI breaking down her door and trying to take her away not unlike they did with her father. Honestly, that was the most interesting part of the episode. She then goes on to plan the downfall of Senator Kingsley (she films his intimate affair with a woman who isn't his wife and then leaks it to the world) who was the man that got her father put into prison, and of her love interest Daniel Grayson. She brings up ghosts from Daniels past and convinces him to try to make amends with his ex-girlfriend Sara, whos spine he broke in a car accident. When Daniels mother Victoria finds out that Daniel went to see Sara in the hospital, she is less than pleased when she hears that Emily told him to do so. Yet Daniel isn't bothered by his mother's disapproval, and he goes on to tell Emily that he'll always be honest with her. There is a look of guilt upon Emily's face for a brief second. When Senator Kingsley's mistress shows up to the Grayson mansion dressed in a red frock with an evident baby bump, the Senator then announces in front of a large crowd that had gathered to hear him speak, that he will not in fact be running for office. Naturally.
